Letter to the Parish -- March 23, 2020

Dear Parish Family                                                                     March 23, 2020

A lot of “Firsts” too place this past weekend!

We broadcast my First Parish Message live at 2 PM Saturday afternoon.

We broadcast the First Sunday Mass live at 5 PM Saturday afternoon.

We broadcast the First Spanish Mass live at 6 PM Saturday afternoon.

Moreover, all 3 of these filmings were stored on the “Cloud” for future viewing.

You can view them in one of 3 ways:  1. on our Holy Spirit Church Web Page,

  1. on Facebook,
  2. on YouTube

You can also view my daily written messages that are posted on our Web Page ... including the text of my Saturday broadcast, which included the beautiful version of the Spiritual Communion Prayer shown below:

My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally,
Come at least spiritually into my heart.
I embrace You as if You were already there
And unite myself wholly to You.
Never permit me to be separated from You.

We’re mailing many copies of the Parish Bulletin today.

Please let us know if you don’t receive one ... or ... if you don’t need to receive one as you prefer to read the Bulletin on-line from our Web Site. Also, LPi, the company that produces the bulletin will begin emailing the bulletin to the email address we have on record for you.

Please remember to get your Tithe to us so that we can continue to pay our bills. You can mail it to the Office, or drop it by the Office, or begin Electronic Giving by going through the simple process to set-up a WeShare account on our Holy Spirit Web Page. A fourth option would be to simply hold onto your envelopes and put them into the collection when we’re all able to gather in Church for Mass.

I prayed for you in my Private Mass this morning.

Please stay isolated as much as you can ... stay well ... and pray!

Love, Father Deering
