Family and Individual
Counseling
Catholic Family Services, a division
of Catholic Charities provides a wide range of social services to
the Tuscaloosa community. These services include: family and individual
counseling, counseling for unmarried mothers, adoption and foster
care. Referrals to the Catholic Family Services can be made by calling
Sr. Carol Gray, MHSH, 205.759.1268.
Knights of Columbus
Catholic men who serve the Church, community,
families, and youth. Meet 2nd Thursdays, 7 p.m., Knights of Columbus

Ladies Auxiliary
The Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary
supports the Knights in all of their activities. Meetings are the
fourth Monday of the month at 7:00PM in the Knights of Columbus
Hall. Wives, daughters, and sisters of active or deceased Knights

MOMS Support Group

Outreach to Hispanics
Those who welcome Hispanics into parish
life and offer support in meeting their particular needs. Monthly
meetings and weekly Hispanic Mass, 1 p.m., Sunday.

Ministers to the
Sick
Those who visit, offer spiritual support,
and/or bring Communion to the sick, in their homes, in the hospital,
or in nursing homes. All ministers are trained and attend regular

Grief Support Ministers
Those who offer support to the grieving
by assisting with phone calls, cards, the monthly support group,
and transportation needs. Meet 1st Thursday 10 - 12 Noon, Knights of Columbus Hall. Coordinator: Maggie Gray, 205.553.9733, ext. 2
African-American
Ministries
Ministering to the needs of African-American
Catholics. Plan activities such as the Martin Luther King and African-American

Prison Ministry
Those who support prisoners and assist
in activities for their spiritual growth and education. Contact:

Meals on Wheels
Those who prepare and deliver breakfast
for elderly or homebound persons. Every 2nd Sunday, 6:30 a.m., Elementary

Parish Grounds Crew
Those who regularly donate time cleaning,
cutting, and repairing parish grounds and facilities; includes periodic

Parish Cook Crew
Those who offer their culinary talents
to prepare food for special parish events: Senior luncheons (every
3rd Wednesday); Lenten Mission Days, meals after funerals; training

Holy Spirit Ladies Altar Guild
Open to all ladies in the parish, meets the 2nd Thursday of the month at 10:00 AM iin the Knights of Columbus Hall. This program takes place from September through May.
